We made it!

Well, we made it! It took almost 30 hours of driving (straight through!) but we're here and getting settled in. Thank you for all your prayers as we made our journey through the mountains with an old car with many miles on it pulling a boat/trailer with toolboxes in the back and all our stuff in the trunk! We're not so sure if we could make the same trip over again, but at least we got here. The JAARS Center is absolutely amazing...we all love it here. Jason is so exited to get started working on airplanes in the hangar--they have a engine shop, machine shop, paint shop, sheet metal shop and parts dept. in addition to the main shop! Patrick is loving living on an airport--airplanes and helicopters are flying all the time. Keri will begin volunteering in the cafeteria on Monday morning and Patrick will attend the MK Station daycare. He visited it yesterday and crawled right out of mom's arms and cried when we had to leave, so we know it's a good place for him to be! We are trying to learn the area and know what our surroundings are along with knowing the schedule of events for JAARS. Each work day starts at 8am with a 20-30 minute devotional/connecting time and the "real" work starts at 8:30. What a way to start the day! Here are a few pictures of our apartment, work sites and, of course, PATRICK! Please feel free to email or call us. Our cell phones have awful reception, but we can provide you with our apartment phone number via email if you wish. Hope to talk to you soon!

Patrick knows how to turn the handles on all our doors at the apartment and is very proud of himself!

Patrick helped drive while we sat at a wayside rest somewhere in Kentucky.

After about 24 hours, Patrick got very frustrated with the whole carseat idea.
